Dave Mustaine has popped up on Megadeth's official Web site to point out that the band's upcoming album United Abominations will be coming out on May 15. Check out the cover art here.
The album was mixed at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England by Andy Sneap, who has previously worked with Machine Head, Skinlab, Nevermore and others, and will include the songs "Washington is Next, "Burnt Ice," "Never Walk Alone" and "Gears of War." A rough mix of "Gears" can be heard here.
For fans craving more vintage Megadeth, tune in to this week's "Headbangers Ball" for the "Holy Wars … the Punishment Due" video from 1990's classic, Rust in Peace.
