On February 28, hardcore metal titans Sick of it All announced that singer Lou Koller had been hospitalized with a back injury and that the band would have to miss the West Coast dates of their upcoming tour with Dropkick Murphys. The group had hoped a few days of rest would sort him out, but it soon became clear the injury was more serious than anyone had thought, and that the entire tour would have to be scrapped.
“Lou is going to need some extra time to recover, so travel and performance is out for now,” said the band on its official Web site. “Lou’s back won’t recover if we stick him on stage too early and threaten a worse injury.”
