To promote the 2007 Wacken Open Air Festival, Oidium Publishing has issued the third annual “Wacken - “Metal Dream Girls Calendar.”
The 14 page calendar features sexy Wacken Fans chosen from over 2,000 entries submitted to a 2006 Internet-based contest at www.metaldreamgirls.de. The winners were invited to attend Wacken 2006, where their photos were taken for the calendar.
If you’re wondering why someone would want to buy a calendar halfway through the year, you deserve a smack in the face with a copy of Maxim. Dude, these are hot chicks!! What more reason do you need?? Oh yeah, and the Calendar starts in September 2007 and runs through August 2008, so it can easily be used as a reference device, if you so choose.

This year’s Wacken Open Air Festival takes place August 2 through 4 and will include performances by: The Black Dahlia Murder, Napalm Death, 1349, All That Remains, Dimmu Borgir, Enslaved, Possessed, Municipal Waste, Immortal, Lacuna Coil, In Flames, Iced Earth, Destruction, Cthonic, Cannibal Corpse, Blind Guardian, Amorphis and many others.
