Last Friday I was invited to speak at the National Alcohol and Drug Recovery Month Kick Off Luncheon in Washington D.C. in September. Apparently, I will be the first musician to speak at such an event; the other speakers include Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Administrator Dr. Terry Cline Ph.D., and Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) Director H. Westley Clark M.D., J.D. Its a great honor to be asked to participate and raise even more awareness to this global epidemic.
We can't help but wonder if he's gonna plug his book "The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star" (which comes out September 18) or if he'll tell all those doctors stories about doing mountains of blow from between the boobies of famous models?
