We really expected Nate from Through the Eyes of the Dead to give props to Cannibal Corpse or Black Dahlia Murder or something. But the dude’s a big fan of Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, so he named “Dry the River” as his Bang of the Week.
Here’s why:
“This band RIPS, and this is one of my favorite songs from their latest CD. There’s a huge place in my heart for some southern rock, especially when you throw a SUPER heavy twist on it. If their riffs get any bigger, I won’t be able to control my bowel movements. I really hope these guys stick around for a long time.”

Its nice to see two flavors of hardcore getting along and loving each other so nicely.

I just saw Maylene a few nights ago with ETID, PTW, and Underoath. I have no bowels anymore… These guys are one of the best bands I’ve ever seen live.

Maylene has been my favorite band for almost 2 yrs. now. Every time I would hear a new song by these guys I would literally get chills. That’s how good their riffs are. The south forever!!!

I have loved maylene for a long while and i am happy to see their fan base grow. Dallas is an awesome guy who goes out of his way for ppl like me. This was a freakin amazing choice for a video! this is my favorite video of all time! and Maylene is a really Awesome band!
