Is this a scene from the upcoming film “Mushroom Men From Outer Space” or a shot from the new In Flames video “The Mirror’s Truth?” We’ll give you a hint. If you check back Friday when the Headbangers Ball Blog presents the world premiere of the video, you’ll have the answer.
Now, here’s In Flames singer Anders Friden talking about the video:
“We’re living in a world of mass consumption and the mainstream, “the ideal,” is important for a lot of people to be part of,” he tells HBB Blog. “We work like slaves and are afraid to speak our mind. The video itself takes part in a factory responsible for making music videos. There’s only kids working there and they have to work at a high tempo to please their boss. During the making of our video they realize they can’t take this anymore and they start a riot.”
And, here are a couple snapshots from the band’s photo albums:

Catch “The Mirror’s Truth” on Friday and then see it again on the big screen on a specially rescheduled edition of Headbangers Ball, which airs Tuesday at 4 a.m. on MTV2.
