One of the most high-profile European summer festivals is Download, a three-day event which, in 2007, featured a wide variety of bangers including Iron Maiden, Stone Sour, Korn, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God and tons more.

According to eFestivals.co.uk A batch of artists have already been confirmed for this year’s event, including Judas Priest, Kiss, Him, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, Children of Bodom, Disturbed, In Flames, Motorhead, Job For a Cowboy, 36 Crazyfists and Chris Cornell.

The 2008 Download festival will take place from June 13-15 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, UK. A weekend ticket to the event will run you £130 (about $250).

The complete list of confirmed bands so far, according to eFestivals.co.uk:
36 Crazyfists, Alter Bridge, Children of Bodom, Chris Cornell, Coheed and Cambria, Disturbed, Him, In Flames, Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Job For a Cowboy, Jonathan Davis, Judas Priest, Kiss, Lostprophets, Motorhead, Rise Against and The Offspring.
