Generally, we’re pretty stoked about video premieres, but this one’s gotten us especially fired up — and not just because it’s the closest we’ll get to seeing King Diamond this year since he hurt his back in 2007 and has been unable to tour (Check out our King Diamond podcast interview for details of the injury). Even more significant, “Give Me Your Soul” is KD’s first music video since 1989’s “Sleepless Nights.” Click “read more” to see the video for “Give Me Your Soul,” then watch its Headbangers Ball debut on March 4 at 4 a.m. EST on MTV2.

As a longtime fan of King Diamond, I am thrilled to see him still making music….but this video is pretty lame. Also, a better song from GMYSP could’ve been chosen.
Nice video! King, Andy, Mike, Hal, and Matt are true pros. Hope they can get a tour going soon. Too bad they couldn’t tour Abigail II, but I saw them on PM in Columbus Ohio…kicked ass! Wish you much success gentleman! Like “oid” said above, book Chicago! Please don’t pass us up.
