Okay, Megadeth and In Flames are always great, but one of the highlights of this year’s Gigantour was clearly Children of Bodom, who delivered a stunning and consistent combination of heaviness, virtuosity and melody everywhere they played. Before their show in Philadelphia, Headbangers Ball Blog caught up with frontman Alexi Laiho and keyboardist Janne Wirman to discuss the band’s new album Blooddrunk, Laiho’s accident prone ways and how to party on the road without losing control.
