Here's clip two of four we're premiering from Hatebreed's new DVD "Live Dominance," which comes out September 2. "This is Now" was originally featured on the band's bruising 2003 album The Rise of Brutality. The video will receive its on-air premiere on "Headbangers Ball" on Saturday.
"This Is Now" was our set opener for the last bunch of tours on the Supremacy album cycle," adds frontman Jamey Jasta. "It's one of our favorite songs to play and the words are still very much a mantra for our everyday lives. It's crazy to think that this October will mark five years since the song first came out. Time really flies, which is why it’s important to appreciate the moment and that is what the song is about.
“This Is Now” always gets the crowd moving and singing, so it was only natural that we start off the Detroit show with it and try and set the pace for an action packed night. We also wanted the start of the DVD to really pack a punch. Every now and then I will go back and listen to the song and watch the video we shot and I am proud that we did something with a positive message; I get amped like I did when we first recorded it."
