Metallica posted the tracks on September 4 during the syndicated radio special "Metallica: The World Premiere of Death Magnetic," which featured the band talking about the album with Foo Fighters members Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins. Death Magnetic officially comes out September 12. However, on September 2, a record store in Paris, France began selling copies of the album, and hours later it was leaked onto the Internet.
