These guys are from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which is most famous for being the location where psycho Army veteran Timothy McVeigh bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in 1995, killing 168. McVeigh was convicted of 11 federal offenses and died by lethal injection in 2001. Fortunately, Bleed the Sky have a more constructive outlet for their hostility and misanthropy -- Playing brutal, face-lacerating metal and... drinking like a pack of dehydrated hippos.

"Our preparation for the video shoot started the night before. We had zero rehearsal and zero physical exertion to make sure we were well-rested. I had a backyard pool party, but I don't have a swimming pool, so I got a couple of those inflatable four-and-a-half foot kiddie pools from Wal-Mart. We sat around in those all night while listening to music, drinking beer and grilling. There's no secret sauce except Frank's Red Hot, which goes with just about everything.
It was great filming the video with David Brodsky. He kept it very relaxed, not to mention that because we're seasoned drinkers, he kept us stocked with the three cases of beer and a handle of Captain Morgan. That probably helped a bit! We had to call up our boys at Guitar Center to bring us a fog machine and some drum heads because of the pot leafs on drummer Austin D'Amond's kit, but other than that, it was pretty easy goin'.
We thrashed non-stop for eight hours! I was really proud of the new band members. Every one of them were unbelievable! It gave me such high hopes for touring 'cause if these guys can do this for eight hours straight without dying, then touring's gonna be a breeze. The more we drank, the more energy we had. We do our best work when we’re good and liquored-up!!!
A funny thing we noticed was that guitarist Justin Warrick kept ritualistically brushing his hair. All the behind-the-scenes videos we shot for ourselves always had Justin brushing his golden locks somewhere in the background. HE NEVER STOPPED. He even tried to brush his hair between takes, but Brodsky told him no, but that didn't mean Justin didn’t keep reaching for his brush.
It was a long day, but everyone did a really good job. We had enough drinks to not feel it at least 'til the next day, then it was all about grillin' some burgers!!! After that, it was time to go drink some more and watch 'Headbangers Ball'!!!”
