Facecage frontman Denny Harvey has announced the return of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor's New Years Eve cover band Dumfux, which has been scheduled at the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines for "another drunken night of revelry and soiled underwear."
This year's set features 22 great songs including tunes by Boston, Dead Kennedys, Duran Duran and Elvis Presley, according to Harvey. "As always, we will be joined by the beautiful Dummettes and a cast of thousands, including many (local and not so local) special guests," he adds.
Opening the show will be Slipknot percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan's new band Dirty Little Rabbits, recently reunited old-school Des Moines outfit Junk Poet and Calous, which features Dumfux drummer Joey Corigliano. The band will be celebrating the recent release of their new CD Building a Better Mars.
