Holy crap! It looks like some gutsy (or foolhardy) soul in the programming department took our tongue-in-cheek recommendation to air this bloodbath of a music video literally, and it is somehow slipped right by the standards department and onto the airwaves on last Saturday's show. The clip features a man who accidentally runs over a little girl, then buries her to cover-up his heinous deed. But the young-un's soul doesn't rest and she lashes out "Evil Dead" style to murder the manslaughterer in a tangle of bloody vines and vomited intestines. If you've got a strong stomach click "more" to watch Wretched's "A Preservation of Immortality."

Having posted the new Attack Attack video, we figured why not also put up the Destroy Destroy Destroy clip for "The Wretched Forest?" Click "more" to check it out. Read more...

Here's the first new CKY video from the band's latest album Carver City, which came out May 19. It's not the heaviest thing the group has ever done, but it rocks pretty hard and should appeal to anyone who has waited four years for their inevitable return. The video was directed by Bam Margera. Who's hot, who's not? Well, when it comes to Limp Bizkit, the fans in Lithuania certainly seem to think the rap-metal band still rock. As for us Westerners, the reaction seems to be split, which probably explains why Limp Bizkit opted to play their first reunion shows in rock-starved nations like Latvia and Lithuania. Wanna place bets of whether or not guitarist Wes Borland will still be with the band when they make it back to the States? Read more...

Pirate metal certainly isn't a new phenomenon. We're guessing it dates back to around 1987 when German power metal band decided to cast their Satanic lyrics overboard and embark on a pirate voyage with their third album Under Jolly Rodger. But whatever its origins, it remains one of the silliest subgenre of metal and it seems to be gaining popularity. Alestorm, Blasphemy, Scurvy, Verbal Deception and Battleheart are just a handful of groups willing to walk the plank for a some rum-swilling riffs and lyrics about sailing the seven seas.
But New Jersey's Swashbuckle, whose second album Back to the Noose comes out July 24, just might have the coolest pirate-themed video. Click more to watch "Cruise Ship Terror."

Here's a video you won't be seeing this week on "Headbangers Ball," or any other week for that matter. The band is Wretched and their label, Victory, calls their video for "A Preservation of Immortality," "The Bloodiest Music Video Ever." Clearly, they're biased, but we have to admit Wretched's clip is pretty horrifying, and not in that it's-so-wretched-it-makes-me-shiver kind of way. The video is about a dude who runs over a little girl, and instead of being irresponsible and reporting his crime, he does the sensible thing. He cleans off his car and buries her body. Of corpse (typo intended), no good deed goes unpunished and the poor dude gets attacked by vines in a bloodbath of a scene that "Evil Dead" director Sam Raimi should probably contact his lawyers about.
