Due to a clerical error, Misery Index's video for "Traitors" didn't actually appear on last week's edition of "Headbangers Ball" even though it was on the playlist. We aim to make up for that snafu by including the clip in this week's lineup -- especially since you guys chose them as the winner of this week's "Your Vote Counts." Read more...

On Saturday's "Headbangers Ball" we aired new videos from Black Tide, Machine Head and The Sword as well as classics from Anthrax and Lamb of God. Plus, we programmed the winner of last week's "Your Vote Counts" contest, Satyricon and their video "Black Crow on a Tombstone."

For the rest of the month, Baltimore, Maryland death metal/grindcore pugilists Misery Index will be wrapping up their North American tour with Black Dahlia Murder and Soilent Green, then they'll head over to Europe for a tour with Hate Eternal, Aeon and See You Next Tuesday which launches January 9 in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Before they head off, we'd like to toast their continued success by premiering their new video for "Traitors." The clip was directed by Dave Brodsky of MyGoodEye in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and rips like a pantleg snagged on a rusty nail. Here's a clip from the upcoming Misery Index video for the title track from their new album Traitors. The video was shot October 19 in Philadelphia and directed by Dave Brodsky (Bleeding Through, The Black Dahlia Murder). The live segments were filmed at the club Johnny Brendas and the rest was shot in a basement in South Philadelphia. "Traitors" will premiere in full on HeadbangersBlog.com next week and will receive its on-air debut on "Headbangers Ball" the same weekend. Click "more" to see the preview. Read more...
