The latest, "Sulfur," is visually stunning, creepy and conceptual in a way the Iowa band have never been before. Click "more" to read Crahan's description of the video and to watch the Internet premiere. See it again on Saturday on "Headbangers Ball," which airs from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. on MTV2. Read more...

Check out "Headbangers Ball" this Saturday night for the debut of Slipknot's "Sulfur" video. The clip was shot in Los Angeles in February and directed by band percussionist Shawn Crahan (a.k.a. Clown) and P.R. Brown. The video depicts the nine members rocking out in groups of three and submerged in water one at a time. The video concept was modeled after a video installation by Bill Viola called "Ascension" that's currently on display at the Des Moines Arts Center. Click "more" to watch a preview of the video. The second video from Slipknot's All Hope is Gone, "Dead Memories," will premiere on HeadbangersBlog.com and MTV2 on October 25. The clip was co-directed by Paul Brown and percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan.
"It's actually a short film," Crahan says. "This is a very expensive video and most people thought we were going to bite off way too much, and we did, but that's the way we like it."
We'll hear more from Crahan when we post the video. For now, click more to see the teaser. Read more...
