Sadly, Ozzy was unable to make the Screaming Metal gig

Our friends at Talking Metal, John Ostronomy and Mark Strigl, recently talked to Neversoft lead designer Alan Flores about one of the most eagerly anticipated videogames of the year, "Guitar Hero: Metallica," which comes out this spring. Click "more" to watch the exclusive interview, which covers: the creation of the game, Metallica's involvement in the process, the Metallica and non-Metallica songs players can choose from and how drummers who want to rock the double-bass can satisfy their dreams. On December 14, John Ostronomy and Mark Strigl from the podcast Talking Metal posted a show that included an interview with In This Moment guitarist Chris Howarth. It might seem like we're a little behind the eight ball since they've done four more podcasts since then, but we bring up the In This Moment episode because a video has just surfaced of Howarth, vocalist Maria Brink, Ostonomy and Strigl performing a cover of Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills." To christen their press kit web site, the dudes behind the blog Talking Metal, John Ostronomy and Mark Strigl, have teamed up with God Forbid vocalist Byron Davis, Halford guitarist 'Metal' Mike Chlasciak and ex-Death and Iced Earth drummer Richard Christy to record a pretty authentic cover of Slayer's "South of Heaven."
