Will it be All That Remains, Amon Amarth, Bleed the Sky, Lordi, Trivium, or someone else from last week's "Headbangers Ball" who returns for a second airing this week? It's entirely up to you.

You know how this thing works. Choose one video from the list below and include an explanation why the artist should receive a return trip to the "Ball." Remember, only new videos are eligible and past Your Vote Counts winners cannot win again. That's why you gotta listen to us and choose from our list -- which is a pretty good one.

Now here's the bureaucratic stuff. Anyone who votes for more than one act will be disqualified, each IP address is only allowed one vote and the polls are open between now and 3 p.m. on Wednesday. One more thing, Headbangers Ball's timeslot is changing once again to 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. EST. So either brew a lot of coffee, stock up on Red Bull or set your TIVO. On Saturday, "Headbangers Ball" aired exclusive television premieres of The Human Abstract's proggy "Processions of Fate" and Toxic Holocaust's thrashy "Wild Dogs." If you liked either, help vote it back for the next HBB. Or choose one of the other new videos from our list below.

Only choose one video from our list. You may think we've forgotten something, but trust us. Not all videos qualify for "Your Vote Counts"; past winners, classic videos and anything we don't like (just kiddin' about that one) are ineligible.

Also, only one selection is allowed per IP address. Voting runs from now until Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. EST. May the best band win. Click "more" to see all of this week’s choices: Read more...

In the new-school thrash metal sweepstakes, Toxic Holocaust take the crown for averting that lightweight Metallica/Megadeth/Exodus crap and going straight for the messy, jugular-slashing sound mined by more extreme bands like Venom, Sodom and early Bathory. The band recently released its debut album, An Overdose of Death, which was produced by Jack Endino (Nirvana, High on Fire) at Soundhouse Recording in Seattle.

To promote the album, Toxic Holocaust shot a video for the track "Wild Dogs," which will debut on Saturday's "Headbangers Ball." The clip was shot in Seattle and directed by Ryan Short and the King of Hearts production crew. Click "more" to hear from frontman Joel Grind about the shoot, watch the video and stream six songs from An Overdose of Death. Read more...
