Having shot a couple dozen or so videos, Slipknot have become masters of the art -- so much so that percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan has co-directed the last two of the band's clips with Paul Brown. The latest, "Sulfur," is visually stunning, creepy and conceptual in a way the Iowa band have never been before. According to their record label bio, the motto of Kenosha, Wisconsin band Lazarus A.D. is "thrash or die." So, the dude's must be totally stoked that they're about to hit the road with thrash legends Testament and post-thrash demigods Unearth. The tour launches in Seattle on May 2 and runs through June 15 in San Luis Obispo, California. Lazarus A.D. are currently in the middle of a tour with Amon Amarth, Goatwhore and Skeletonwitch. Those dates run through April 29 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
To celebrate the band's road success and give props to their ripping debut The Onslaught, we're happy to premiere the band's video for "Thou Shall Not Fear." The clip was shot in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the haunted venue Eagle's Ballroom and was directed by Jason Meudt and Emmet Austin. Our prayers have been answered. Christian metalcore band War of Ages have released a new video for the song "All Consuming Fire. The Erie, Pennsylvania group shot the clip on February 7 in their home town at Forward Hall.
"We are truly stoked on the all consuming fire video!," vocalist Leroy Hamp told HeadbangersBlog.com. "This was a great opportunity for us to give something back to our fans. Here's the world premiere of the Cattle Decapitation video for "Regret and the Grave." The band shot the clip with director Gary Smithson (Goatwhore, High on Fire) early this year at a butcher shop in Santa Paula, California.
